As a Sales Project Manager for Modernization, you are responsible for successfully acquiring and managing modernization, retrofit, and lifecycle projects during the sales phase. You develop technically and economically optimal solutions, manage the bidding process, and lead complex projects through to the successful conclusion of a contract.

What you'll be handling:

  • Managing complex modernization and retrofit projects during the sales phase
  • Leading interdisciplinary project teams during the bidding process
  • Developing and implementing sales and bidding strategies
  • Preparing cost estimates, schedules, and commercial proposals
  • Conducting price, award, and contract negotiations at the management level
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships and providing professional stakeholder management
  • Ensuring a structured project handoff to the implementation organization
  • Supporting colleagues in complex contract negotiations
  • Supporting the further development of the department globally

 

 

What you'll need:

  • In-depth knowledge of intralogistics and an understanding of processes, IT, automation, and conveyor technology
  • Mechatronics expertise in the area of modernization and retrofitting
  • Strong understanding of technical and commercial contexts
  • Negotiation skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and partners
  • Excellent communication skills, initiative, and a team-oriented approach
  • A structured and solution-oriented work style
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 53.242 Euro.
