Are you looking for a varied job and want to take on project responsibility in a technically demanding environment? As Project Manager Controls Retrofit, you will manage the control technology modernization and expansion of existing automated logistics solutions and ensure the technical, scheduling and economic result of your retrofit projects.

What you'll be handling:

  • You will be responsible for retrofit projects in the field of control technology – with a focus on the modernization and expansion of existing systems during ongoing operation (brownfield)
  • You will be responsible for the service, deadline, technology and costs from the placement of the order to successful commissioning and acceptance
  • You will be responsible for finding technical solutions, taking into account risks in the portfolio (e.g. availability, interfaces, downtimes)
  • You will specify and clarify interfaces to third-party trades as well as to IT/OT infrastructures
  • You manage internal and external partners (e.g. electrical installation, engineering, suppliers) You plan deadlines and capacities taking into account complex retrofit boundary conditions (e.g. conversions during ongoing production)
  • You will support the sales department with technical clarifications, effort estimates and retrofit concepts
  • You will drive the standardization and further development of retrofit processes and solutions

What you'll need:

  • Sound technical education (university/FH/HTL) in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or comparable
  • Very good technical understanding in the field of control technology (Siemens, Profibus, Profinet) Understanding of IT/OT topics, networks and increasing cybersecurity requirements (e.g. IEC 62443)
  • Entrepreneurial thinking as well as result orientation and organizational strength
  • Customer-oriented action as well as a high degree of initiative and decisiveness
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills 
  • Willingness to travel (~35%)

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 53.242,- Euro.
