As an Apprentice Trainer Controls, you will be responsible for the technical training of mechatronics apprentices with a focus on automation technology and the special PLC-Technik module in the third year of your apprenticeship – including planning, coordination, implementation and monitoring of the training content. In addition, you will take on central tasks that will ensure the development of future Controls-Experts and strengthen cross-site collaboration.

What you'll be handling:

  • Leading the CO apprentice team with the goal of integrating the apprentices as fully trained COMCs after completing their program
  • Developing and further refining a training concept that supports progression from COMC to Lead COMC and ultimately to TLC
  • Providing technical onboarding and support for new Commissioning Engineer Controls within the department
  • Designing and optimizing the Commander training plan with a focus on software preparation, emulation, and controls commissioning
  • Collaborating and aligning across locations between Wels and Teunz, including close coordination with the Apprentice Trainer Controls in Teunz
  • Actively contributing to projects to keep expertise up to date and to integrate new technologies and challenges into the training program

What you'll need:

  • Knowledge in automation or several years of commissioning experience with a focus on software development (Siemens, TIA, Commander Standard)
  • Very good knowledge of TGW products, especially CTC and ULC; familiarity with STS and ASRS/HBW is an advantage
  • Experience in leading team members within projects as well as strong pedagogical skills when working with adolescents and young adults
  • Certified vocational trainer qualification or willingness to obtain it
  • Professional demeanor and confident communication in a technical environment
  • Good English skills for international collaboration and documentation

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, depending on qualifications and professional experience. The minimum gross basic salary under the collective agreement on the basis of full-time employment is 47,547 euros per year.
